My work is rooted in a slower way of seeing. The kind that notices how light falls across a table, how a space holds warmth, and the quiet moments in between that often go unseen.
Before building Slow Bliss Studio, I found myself drawn to the feeling of places just as much as how they looked. Cosy cottages, quiet cafés, countryside stays and thoughtfully designed spaces where everything feels considered without being forced.
That naturally shaped the way I photograph today.
I specialise in story-led brand photography for independent businesses, hospitality spaces and product-based brands who care about how they are experienced. The kind of work that goes beyond “having content” and instead creates a visual story people can step into.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at home with my family, capturing the same quiet, everyday moments that inspire my work, or out exploring slower spaces that feel calm, grounded and full of character.
Because for me, photography has never just been about what something looks like.
It’s about how it makes you feel.
Hi, I’m Shelley, the photographer behind Slow Bliss Studio.
Alongside my work, I’m also a mum to my little boy, which has deeply shaped the way I see the world. Softer, slower, more present. It’s where my love for capturing meaningful, in-between moments really began.
Slow Bliss Studio was built for brands who value connection, intention and storytelling, and who want their audience to feel something the moment they land on their page. Through story-led brand photography, I create imagery that feels calm, considered and full of atmosphere.
